Traveller's Diarrhoea Treatment

Azithromycin can be supplied for severe traveller's diarrhoea in suitable high-risk travellers or those travelling remotely.

Azithromycin 500 mg tablets

The PGD dose is 500 mg once daily for 3 days. Antibiotics should only be used when the diarrhoea meets the severity criteria discussed during the consultation.
